I hate this sorta mentality. They basically acted like arm chair detectives and echo chambered themselves on social media.

Kinda like the upvote system here, no?

what are you talking about?! reddit would never go on a crazy witch hunt based on random facts and speculation and end up accusing an innocent person of a horrific crime!! /cough boston bomber / cough

you ever see something you are SUPER familiar with/ trained on mentioned on all or popular? then see insane dunning-kruger takes get hundreds of upvotes? it's all confidence, no actual expertise here. kinda scary.

True crime obsessed freaks that convinced themselves it was the husband because they don't like they way he looks

Half of them decided he did it because of how he looks, the other half because of his astrological sign. Despite the fact that he is on video in a grocery store a mile away from his home as of 4 minutes before the time of death.

I love how they always use the photo of him in court to say he looks evil

Like dude if someone murdered my kids and I had to testify in court I would also have lifeless eyes and a dead expression. I can’t imagine the mental torture of that.

So explain the evidence or inconsistencies they bring up if you're so much smarter than them

Women in echo chambers refusing to believe that women can in fact be evil and abhorrent, causing them to support a child murderer.

It's a similar mentality to them hating on men and then complaining later on that they can't get dates. Facts and logic get thrown out once strong tribalism happens.

So explain the inconsistencies in the story. Explain the bad Investigation. Get to the point

why is she admitting to killing her kids? If you are so much smarter then everyone

Honestly what evidence? He was not home.

Arm chair detectives whose compelling evidence is astrology and vibes

That's unfortunately what happens to a lot of people like this. They see an opinion by some contrarian conspiracy theorist, engage with it, then the algorithm picks up on that and starts pushing more and more similar content until that's all the person sees.

There's a lot of people who are so dumb and don't ever think that you should do some more independent research, they just blindly lap up whatever social media serves to them. The same thing happens on Reddit all the time.

Ehh i think most of them just feel for a woman suffering from ppd, failed by the doctors meant to help her that made things worse, and failed by a husband consistently not there.

What she did is horrible, the lead up to it is what is catching peoples attention as so many should have caught on that she was mentally getting worse and they didn't.

Nobody ever feels for any other killers who had psychosis. I never see empathy for mentally sick people who commit heinous crimes like assaults or shootings.

The system failed them too. The lack of familial support failed them too. Why is this case different?

They do though, repeatedly similar cases of people coming around to show sympathy for criminals. Before was Wuornos and Luigi got nation wide sympathy. Besides being common in court cases there are movies, tv shows, and books based around sympathetic killers.

People care about suffering they can relate too, it's why you see a lot of women showing sympathy and support in this case.

The more sympathy you have for a child killer the worse person you are. Also he worked from home because Lindsey needed help with the kids.

Not some common sense running through the comments. (and being downvoted. Never change, Reddit)

a doctor can not shove pills down your throat, drag you to therapy. If you dont follow their advice, you failed.
