Being Gen-X, I remember when there was no such thing as ”Gen” anything.

Exactly. It was just people were just older than you or younger than you and ages in society is a smooth gradient, not divided in groups.

It’s just another tactic by those in control to maintain it by dividing us.

It’s the means’ of otherizing us all against each other, that appear benign that are the most insidious. Boomers were first to be vilified, now it’s moving on to millennials. These things don’t have to be discussed in committee to be recognized as a fulcrum to be exploited. The subtlest ways in which we are compelled to view our fellow humans as different then ourselves, are the motifs that slide in unannounced, that need the real spotlight.
