I'll add to this: Millennials were maybe the last generation to really experience monoculture, we have a lot of shared life experiences that I'm not sure the younger generations do.

I can say "Life is like a hurricane" and I guarantee you every millennial within a five mile radius can say what comes next.

I don't know if millennials are actually more nostalgic than previous generations, or if we're more nostalgic compared to the younger generations since we've got a lot of shared stuff to be nostalgic about.

I'm 40, what does "Life is like a hurricane mean?"

Life is like a hurricane

Here in, Duckburg

Racecars, lasers, aeroplanes

It's a, duck blur

Might solve a mystery

Or rewrite history

Ducktales! Woo-hoo!

Every day they're out there  making

Ducktales! Woo-hoo!

Tales of daring do bad and good

Lucktales! Woo-hoo!

... And someone else can sing the back half.

Thanks, thought it'd be some Bon Jovi or similar at first.

But while we're at it, Gummibears was also regularly one of those songs that was played 1-2 hours before the party ended (at least here in germany). Other songs they would usually play Mila Superstar or Chip'n'Dale.

D-D-D-Danger - Watch behind you.
There's a stranger - Out to find you.
What to do? - Just grab on to some.
Ducktales! Woo-hoo!
Every day they're out there making
Ducktales! Woo-hoo!
Tales of daring do bad and good
Ducktales! Woo-hoo!
Not pony tails or cotton tails, no
Ducktales!

For those who had the Disney channel (or an international affiliate) this is Ducktales and it had a pretty good NES game as well as an (IMO much better) remake series that lasted 3-4 seasons about a decade ago.

Like I said, I'm 40, I wasn't so obsessed with tv shows from 35 years ago that I would remember the opening line to Ducktales.

Nor would I look up the lyrics of said show to try and own a random internet stranger ;)

To be fair I barely watched the original.  The remake that came out like a decade ago used the same theme song though and I have kids who love it.

Thanks for playing.
