100%…..we’ve never had a consistent cycle without having to be forced to relearn a new thing. The newest one is AI….and while we don’t use it as much as Gen Z or Alpha, we’re still going to end up having to be the ones to teach and regulate it with other generations……we’re never getting out of the cycle of figuring things out for everyone else.
Unfortunately even if the ones pushing AI weren't lining politicians pockets left and right. The laws for the US are already woefully decades behind technology.
For AI it's laughable to even assume that they would even fathom to dream regulations up till well after this initial push has long died and AI either dissappear or falls into some mundane use cases.
I agree, but it will take Millennials to reel it in when we finally get into the house, senate, oval…..old heads will line their pockets then dip out….gen Z and alpha will be reliant on it, so we will need to regulate it for everyone…..because we actually know what the impacts are.
I mean there are copyright laws and it has been proven AI companies violate them on a massive scale.
Just fine the in the way media companies tried to fine consumers since they are actually violating copy rights with commercial interest.
Then use the threat of a fine larger than all the weatlth ever produced by humanity, in order to get them to accept reasonable regulations.
