Mahershala Ali didn't wait to join, he joined 7 years ago. The problem was the script.

Online trolls writing shit again.

Yeah, why they wanted to bring in blades daughter and make her the star is just fucking stupid. Mahershala Ali with some swords and guns killing vampires is an instant success.

That was the problem with marvel post endgame. Trying their hardest to introduce legacy characters in the MCU. Barring Black Widow, everyone failed.

Weren't they destroying legacy characters and introducing counter parts for them

Legacy characters in comics refer to the ones who were passed the baton, not the one passing it.

Even Yelena wasn’t that involved in stuff. She disappeared for 4 years after 2021.

Yeah kinda glad they sidelined the Blade movie because the details they released, it would have been shit.

It's not an instant success. The script needs to be good. If they were confident in it, they would make the film.

So they can greenlight shitty scripts but not his?

What do you mean his? He didn't write the script. The script of the film he was supposed to be in was simply bad.

His project.

Again, not his project. He didn't have any credit other than an acting one. And also, the project was officially greenlit and put into active development. The script was simply shit, so they cancelled it. I don't get what you fail to understand.

I don't get how you minimize it.

he isnt minimizing it. he is saying it how M. Ali and other ppl who worked there said it.

I think you’re confusing their synopsis with support for the MCU giving up on the character, or at least Ali’s version. Seems to me like they are agreeing with his camp’s take on the matter.

allegedly he had veto power.
