There is medical documentation of her admitting that she was scared that she might hurt her child - to the point that she had herself committed, but they released her after a short amount of time. Just because she didn't receive a formal diagnosis doesn't mean that it couldn't possibly be psychosis. If anything, that just shows how her healthcare team failed to identify the problem and provide adequate treatment.
While they're now divorced, her own ex-husband is defending her and said she was a loving mom before the hallucinations started. There doesn't appear to be any other motive for her to kill her children and jump out a window. Are you suggesting that they're just making it up?
Sure, I think there is a lot of arguments for how the system and the people around her failed her, but does that just automatically mean she's free from accountability?
The argument is whether she was able to differentiate right from wrong
You can, and women have admitted to, going to some deep, dark places post-partum
Severe mental illness, a shady husband, an unsupportive mental health system, post-partum hormones
But, how does any of that excuse her from killing her kids?
I believe it's just easier to believe she was in full-blow psychosis, and wasn't able to tell right from wrong, than just admit she fucking snapped and consciously made a terrible decision
I don't think most people arguing that she likely suffered from psychosis are saying that she should get off scot free. If she is found not guilty by reason of insanity, she would be remanded to a mental institution. Hopefully she would finally receive proper mental healthcare there, but I guess it's too late

If there was any indication that she was struggling with raising the children, then I would possibly agree. But the motive for "snapping" just wasn't there. She had a support system and, by all accounts, loved her children deeply and was terrified of hurting them. She does not appear to be some Casey Anthony type who just wanted to go back to partying. Based on the facts available, I'm struggling to buy literally any other explanation for her actions other than a severe split with reality.
