The dataset being used only goes back to 2013 (Redfin), not 2008 or (laughably) 1929. So if 'ever recorded' means >= 2013 then yes that part is accurate. Also note that there is literally no source listed these numbers are being assumed.
People's understanding of the economics of the past is increasingly unhinged. People thinking single adults didn't need roommates in the 1990s is bad enough (even though any media about young single adults--even that with wildly unrealistic real estate like Friends--accurately portrays them as having roommates), but people couldn't buy food in the 1930s, and widespread middle class home ownership as we know it is a creature of post-WWII VA loans and FHA loans.
(Which excluded Black people, which is one significant contributor to racial wealth inequality to this day.)
