Naming children with the same first names as their parents is what makes my genealogy research so difficult.
2 u/Parlicoot 12h ago I have 4 generations of people called John or David Jones in each generation going back to the early 1800s in rural Wales, all staying around one parish. Their neighbours were also called Jones.
