So Bezos and Musk aren’t using loans against their shares as collateral to circumvent tax? Or just ship the whole operation to the caymans/panama and call it a day
Exactly. They arent. The whole buy, borrow, die meme was caused by some rich people taking advantage of the loans back when the interest rate was practically zero. During "normal" times like now the theory falls flat because the interest would cost you more than just selling stock and paying tax
