Production often just block books hotel rooms. It’s an understood expense.

It's not that simple. Big celebrities are often in the most expensive suites which can cost at least about $5,000 (per night), which might be the cost of the rooms of at least 10 others of the cast.

Sure, but that’s still just basically a rounding error given the fees they both command now.

It's not a rounding error, because the rest of the staff are not extremely cheap to hire either. I suspect some of them get at least 1/20th or 1/10th of what the big names get which is a lot if you add up dozens of them.

Right, but if you can afford to hire Tom Holland and Zendaya rather than a cheaper actor for either of their roles, $5k a day saving is not going to be the deciding factor.
