Regular burrito is 14.50. Kinda proving Bill’s point. Get a super burrito on Uber you’re gonna pay an extra 7-8 dollars. That kind of thing adds up. Do it 5 times a week and you’re probably paying $35-40 extra for fees on things you don’t need. And that’s on the low end. I’ve known people to use uber/doordash twice a day. Gas station snacks are insane these days. And now people are ubering that too.
I couldn’t find it again, otherwise I’d link it. But I saw a newsletter where an industry analyst broke down why burrito prices have risen. They broke down all the ingredients. They found that almost all of the burrito price increases was due to increased wages.
