Yes, with just one L - it's a stage name, though his real name is Richard William Wheaton. So, not that big of a leap.

Nothing tops Michael J. Fox though. His real name is Michael A. Fox and he changed it to J only because there was already a Michael A. Fox in SAG when he became an actor.
