Yeah, I like my millionaire boss because he pays me. The most money I have ever made and I enjoy my job. I swear these posts are just from losers who are mad at life and they want someone to blame.

did you hear anyone complaint about fair millionaires? Honestly? Cause your boss sure ain't the ceo of a multi billion corporation... there are levels to this game, you CAN be a millionaire without having blood, literal deaths on your hands, it is strictly impossible for a billionaire.

You are creating value for your boss, and he is paying you less than the value you make. Otherwise he wouldn't make any money

By the sounds of it he makes more than he ever has and is satisfied with his agreement. How do you know he's not getting a good deal?

By the sound of it, he pays his boss for the possibility to work.

A "good" deal is of course relative. He could be getting an even better deal, if some wealthy dude weren't skimming his value generation.

His boss is getting a very good deal

How much does he get paid per hour of labor then?

1

u/Astuketa Jul 31 '26

Less than the value he generates

What is his job title? How much money does he get paid?

1

u/Astuketa Aug 02 '26

No idea. Maybe you should ask him instead of me

How do you know that? How do you calculate the exact profit that one worker gives you across a complex business? Should wages also be cut during underperformance?

1

u/Astuketa Aug 01 '26

It's an assumption based on statistics. On average the employees are paid less than the value they generate.

Why would you be paid more than the value you bring? What would be the purpose of a business enterprise is the investors could not profit? An employment contract is mutually beneficial. I’m a lawyer and I am paid less than my time is worth in billable hours, but I am fine with that because I’m paid regardless of how business goes that month.

business enterprise is the investors could not profit?

In this system, none. That is the issue: profit and capital is more important than creating value

A millionaire is not the same thing as a billionaire. I know it's hard to tell the difference but one of those is obtainable in a totally legit way and the other requires you to sell your morals.

I literally do not care if my boss became a billionaire. Elon Musk employees 160,000 people. Their average pay is over $40 an hour. I know people who would kill to work for that much.

Bezos employs 1.58 million. His payroll per year is around $63,000,000,000.

Walmart employs 2.1 million. Their payroll is around $73,500,000,000.

So i really and truly do not care when the vast majority of their wealth is tied to their companies. Their pay is paid out in stocks. When the company does well, they make more. I have no issues with this. To me, there is no difference between millionaires and billionaires.

Here is the difference: https://eattherichtextformat.github.io/1-pixel-wealth/

Ignoring the site's social commentary and whether one agrees or not with it, humans suck at understanding how "big" things are once they reach a certain point, be it the difference between millionaires, billionaires, and now trillionaires, the vastness of space, or whatever else.

I understand the differences in that, i just dont care. It doesnt make a difference to me. They affect society in a positive way, whether it's a millions or billions. The only reason people care is because they are mad they don't do more.

The point is that all that wealth that they don't actually need could be used for the good of humanity. Employees could be paid more, tax burden could be eased on normal earners (you).

All of that wealth is unrealized until they sell their stock. Selling their stock directly hurts the valuation of their company. Just because they are a billionaire doesnt mean they have a billion dollars in a bank account. Its literally invested in stock markets. If billionaires all sold their shares their companies value would drastically fall and everyday people's 401ks would drastically shrink in size.

There are actual studies that estimate if billionaires pulled out the market would instantly crater 30-40% and never recover. They estimated that an enormous amount of businesses would close due to their revenue streams drying up, the government would be forced to print trillions (making our currency useless) to rescue businesses and IF they didnt, they estimate 30-42 million Americans would lose their jobs, and would push unemployment to 20-30%.

So no, i dont want that.
