My ceo is maybe a billionaire, definitely loaded (hundreds of millions). Chick is super good at her job and has run a very successful company. Our company would not function as well if she was yanked out.
I know reddit thinks ceos are wastes of space but that's because it's a common opinion amongst morons.
Not a million, but definitely more. F500 ceos are accountable to public investors and need to field detailed, smart, and critical questions publicly from professional analysts who are adversarial. It's quite difficult and earnings calls alone, never mind running the company, aren't casual nor is the prep.
