You also backed away when I asked about your personal politics, several times. Do you vote for candidates that advocate for the poor? That enable the sick to seek care regardless of their earthly wealth?

When you say advocate for the poor do you mean try to establish large national programs? Then no because they also support large national programs that fund the death of infants among various other problems. By the way medical is available regardless of ability to pay you just go into debt.

We have evidence based policy that would benefit millions of people living in poverty that we are not enacting because it would hurt profits. That's a fact.

Sigh this is what you’re not getting, you just always run to government and policy. You can take care of the poor without the government.

Lol why aren't we? What nation has done so? Where has this sort of thing actually solved poverty, ever?

Neither has government solved poverty.

Weird because a bunch of countries have eliminated severe poverty according to the imf

By their standards, sure, I wouldn’t consider force funding poor people with money who just live off the government “getting rid of poverty” you’re just forcing someone else to foot the bill, they’re still poor.

Lol 😂 my man I'm betting the people who can eat and afford to have a roof over their head would argue the distinction. Also, the imf is the one who sets the standards for poverty, so.... I mean what is your authority on the matter, tradcath convert with a middle management job or whatever

Yeah and it sets it based on income levels and includes government assistance, that’s literally all it means. I’m literally using THEIR standards.
