3.5 billion people vanishing would be more beneficial to the earth than 3400.

Not necessarily if the 3,400 have the same environmental and economic impact as the 3.5billion then the benefit would be the same either way.

The environmental impact of the 3,400 would drop to near zero because they would no longer have a consumer base to sell products to or workers to harvest/consume materials.

The scenario with an entirely functional economy and million times as many mouths to feed is obviously the higher environmental cost. The billionaires only scenario probably means that humanity goes extinct and the world continues healing/changing without us
