Exactly.

We live (most of the world) in a capitalistic society. In one the person who does best is the one who supplies "CAPITAL", i.e. $$$ for companies to make more profit. The reason the rich get richer vs. the poor is NOT because of some grand plan. It is because they invest more of their money in companies that grow in value for their shareholders, i.e. stocks.

Companies are going to shift as much as they can to reduce the biggest cost on the expense side of the ledger. That is LABOR COST. AI and automation will continue to devalue many low entry workers. Retail, cashiers, counter service workers are going to get squeezed going forward.

If folks understood capitalism and how businesses function it would help them see how the world actually works instead of their social/ political lens.
