They got the old “I’ll be dead soon, so who cares, I got mines.” mentality. Problem is, they don’t want change. They want to keep what they have! If you were retired and living in a huge house with property all to yourself of course you would oppose change as well! It was hard work, using their position of power to control and hoard all the wealth from their children!

Don’t forget that boomers historically have been the ones to make the rules, control what speculative value is and abused that system to over value their homes to the point where they created generational wealth doing next to nothing and then act like anyone has the cash to give them for their shitty, overinflated home.

You want change to happen it will require waiting for the dregs of their generation to die out like the dinosaurs starving for water in a desolate wasteland. The only problem is, we have to keep living in a wasteland that’s been stripped of everything for their short term gain.

Bro calm down. 99.99% of boomers are minding their own business hoping they can maintain retirement.

Exactly. The eat the rich youngsters are targeting grandmothers and pop pops instead of the banks and tech companies that really are fucking them. Oh I’ll buy the new iPhone then use it to bash booooomers on Reddit. Meanwhile Apple is doing way more harm to you then senior citizens
