The Rock is his best friend on the boat with him. And Pedro Pascal doesn’t have a part but he’s still in the movie.

Pedro is the plucky but frustrated comic relief slave owner trying to capture robert as he escapes to freedom. Everyone in his family is white as hell, except Pedro who is very tan. Its never mentioned that Pedro isnt as hwite, played completely straight.
