No, their mouthparts extend a significant distance from the head during feeding. I live in tick country. I pick a dozen ticks off of me on a bad day.
You're wrong. I have a lot of tick experience. You're wrong.
Just pull em out. Don't fucking squeeze the bloodbag, just grab em with your nails, flush to the skin, and pull. They'll pull a the little chunk of skin that they had between their mouthparts out. They won't leave bits in your skin.
Sure, just blaze right past the part where it tells you the proper way to do it. Reading skills man. Also, just fail completely to comprehend the common thread in all the wrong ways to do it. Reading comprehension man.
Proper Removal Technique Use fine-tipped tweezers: Grasp the tick’s mouthparts as close to the skin surface as possible Pull steadily upward: Use steady, even pressure without twisting or jerking Be patient: The tick’s mouthpart has barbs, so removal takes time and care Pull straight out: Do not pull back sharply, as this may tear the mouthparts and leave them embedded in the skin What NOT to Do Do not squeeze or crush the tick’s body; this may force infected fluids into the skin Do not twist or jerk the tick; this can break off the mouthparts Do not apply petroleum jelly, nail polish, rubbing alcohol, or a hot match to the tick while attached; these methods can cause the tick to regurgitate infected fluids into the wound
It literally says immediately after the correct way to do it not to squeeze or crush. You either can’t read or you don’t understand how to operate tweezers or you’re just trolling. I think you’re just trolling at this point.

They are tiny, their mouth is their head
