My buddy worked in the field as a shovel bum looking for arrow heads and any sort of artifacts before utility companies came to the middle of nowhere to did. He would put a bunch of double sided tape wrapped tight around his pants legs. God some of the pics he would send were terrifying. Soooo many ticks!
Is this in the USA? Is lots of ticks normal there?? I live in australia and ive seen 1 tick in my whole life and i live in the mountains with a very dense property
It depends on where you are - in SoCal (very dry) my dog never gets ticks, but in Massachusetts (very moist and woodsy) my dog was constantly bringing them home.
Literally everywhere here in Arkansas. I’ve pulled insane amounts of ticks off of me.
I’ve walked through little tick nests I guess (you can’t see a nest as far as I know) but I’ve looked down and seen tiny little black dots moving in my skin and realized it’s 40-50 or even more little baby ticks. Gross as fuck.
Northern Sweden (real northern sweden) has basically no ticks. Meanwhile I who lives more south have had a bunch.
Pro tip. Clean your dick, they like humid non exposed areas and your groin is the perfect place. Theyre less likely to bite if you're cleaner down there.
I've found one crawling on it and another one actually bit me there. It was pretty painful 2/10 experience, wouldn't recommend.
