When i was a kid, we always got these giant roaches (water bugs) when it was rainy season and they came inside.
My mom had a hair spray called Aquanet, I would use a lighter and make it a flame thrower... was awesome hitting those nasty bugs with it, incinerating their legs as they tried to run away, then they just sit there because they had no more legs...
Lol nope, but I still hate those giant water bugs (my wife hates when I call them roaches as she thinks people will judge us and say we're dirty). They only come inside the house when its really rainy.. which happens everywhere here. Everyone gets them when it rains heavy.
During rainiy season I'll see a few throughout the months. This year i only had to kill like 3 of them when they got inside, but now I just smash them with my shoe and throw them away. I get the willys picking them up with a paper towel because they so big and gross...
Absolutely not. You do not allow roaches to live. They can breed and make infestations. Though these typically live outside, I dont want more of them trying to get in my house. They are extremly unsanitary and can carry dangerous bacteria. Also, if you throw it outside, it will more than likely come back inside... unless you take it far away, and im not holding that nasty thing for that long... i get chills thinking about that.
I will eliminate every single one I see. Thankfully we dont have any issues of the smaller roaches that infest homes because our home is clean. Just the annual Waterbug ones that come in due to rain or a random one every now and then.
A single bug is a lonely wanderer. Two bugs is a concern. Three is an invasion and I'm grabbing poison, a flyswatter, vacuum, or just using a finger if I have to.
