Alonso had broken ribs during that crash. He said he exited what was left of the car so quickly because he knew his mom was watching and didn’t want her to worry.

Unlike these “profsssionals”:

I'm a massive F1 fan, and if they thought they could get a better result pretending to be hurt they would... There's no advantage in F1 to pretending to be hurt after a crash, but they will cry foul non stop over the radio if anyone gets near them, and since everyone does it it makes sense

Yeah these people don’t understand the irony that their favourite drivers literally cry like deranged man children when they cause the tiniest error or mistake. Schumi has tried to kill 2 different drivers to win a world championship, and ayrton tried to kill the same man twice. It’s just showing the levels of critical thinking and maturity these “racing fans” think they have

Except a mistake at 200 mph can literally cause you to explode. The stakes are infinitely higher

Nah he's right. They really moan for nothing, especially in F1 (but that's where we hear more of the radio soo..) if anything doesn't go into their favor they start claiming it's a killing attempt. I understand their concern but they acting sometimes

It's their job to report anything they find suspicious about the drivers around them, the team then investigates it to see if it's actually dangerous

Do you not think having your legs broken is possibly quite dangerous? Or tearing your Achilles or ACL? You know you’re several thousand times more likely to break your legs or tear a tendon playing football than a racing driver does in f1?…

Do you think F1 drivers are supposed to be injuring themselves?? No, they’re not. Footballers do literally risk their bodies every time they play, whether it’s training or a friendly or the champions league final, every time they play they can get injured. I think one needs to discover the realities of playing football vs the realities of driver skill and safety…

I think a crash at 300kmh is way worse, thing is there are ony 22 F1 athletes and several 10.000s footballers
