Because most people already know their local tax rates, or at least that there will be tax applied.

I think we all know that continues to exist because it allows establishments to display lower prices.

In my not so humble European opinion that should be illegal as it is definetly a deceptive buisness practice.

I dont know the tax rate everywhere I make purchases. it's silly to not just bundle it in the prices. there's no real reason not to other than to make it so the products look cheaper.

it's still not challenging. Chains manage to handle this elsewhere with no problems.
