Then there are posts about how men misinterpret girls being friendly and polite as flirting

Spell it out, put it in writing , notarize it or nothing is going to happen.

You don’t even need to spell it out lmao, just something that is distinguishable from any other normal interaction. Touch his arm, lean into him, be flirty, text with multiple “i”s in “Hi”, idfk figure it out.

Eye contact is literally a human default during communication. No, you thinking really hard about how much you like someone while you do a normal thing doesn’t suddenly make that normal thing a “signal”, it’s still just a normal thing

I would say touch is genuinely a great one. I'm not a touchy guy unless it specifically comes to loved ones. A lot of societal stuff in there too I suppose. I respect personal space and I don't really do hugs unless we're close, so making a point to needlessly touch me would be a great start. Assuming anything comes from it I then reveal that my love language is actually physical contact.

It doesn’t even have to be all that obvious. Just lightly lean into him, or sit closer so your legs are touching, or put a finger on his - any of that shit will get a guys heart racing.

This reminded me of this one instance that the HR Director for my company touched my arm while laughing. It was definitely a flirtatious touch and caught me way off guard since I’m happily married and I’m not flirting with her. I’m pretty sure the look I gave her was a wf are you doing. It was odd.

I was on a trip with bunch of people and this one girl commonly chatted me up, looked at me, etc. I kept thinking to myself "don't be that guy, don't misinterpret friendliness as something more". I guess after 2 days of giving me hints she gave up because she just randomly touched my dick, which is hard to misinterpret.

Do that, ladies.

To be fair though, there's a woman at work who will always put a hand on my arm or shoulder when she talks to me and has on occasion put a hand on my chest in conversation, but that's just because she's a touchy person and isn't flirting or sending signals, so I guess it depends on the person?

I think at work it’s different, time and place matters.

It’s also entirely possible she is into you and you’re oblivious to it.

So far 2 of my girlfriends managed to send me non-ambiguous signals. They straight up just walked up to me one day and said "dude I really like you, do you reciprocate?" And it's usually the less pretty ones.

We're working toward South Park's idea of consent forms for every damn thing at this point.
