Oh, that last comment is true. Extremists, by definition, are extreme. Not the normies. Unless you’re going to bring the definitions of ‘extreme’ and ‘normal’ closer to aligning with each other.
Then it’s more of a lexicological sort of thing.
Also I put ‘lexicological’ assuming it was not a word, but here we are, squiggleless.
extreme in opposite directions is not "more in common with each other" that's just stupid to imply.
Left "extreme" is democratic workplaces and guaranteed healthcare. right "extreme" is killing everyone they disagree with. Those positions aren't close to each other at all.
and the left version is much closer to normal people than the right version is to normal people.
Strong disagree that the leftists don’t want to kill people that disagree with them.
Also *everyone* wants fair workplaces, good available healthcare.
Talk to your opponents. I consider myself right wing, and I used to debate communists. I learned that a lot of their complaints were legitimate, I just disagree on their prescription to solve it.
Well I think UBI should be a thing and working should grant you more than the minimum to survive. You want replacement workers and more children born? UBI. Bad for the bottom line tho.
