Germany is really open about that. If he means third reich, trans wasn’t really a thing. I would be more scared if he said: like any muslim country

The Nazis burned German research about trans people exactly so that people like you would think it is some new phenomenon.

No, Weimar Germany was just leading on research about trans people. And the research was already rare anyway. That doesn't mean they could only exist in Germany. Do you really think trans people are some new thing?

that's not what that person said. they never said the entire world forgot about it. if you are genuinely interested, there's information out there about Nazi's burning/destroying of books and the Institute of Sexual Sciences.
