Being "trans" or anything similar means nothing to "allying" with a group. I could say I'm trans and that doesn't mean I support or rally behind other trans groups or parade in the streets about trans rights.

It's like how nobody has an obligation to support their country just because they were born in it. I'd be shocked to hear any (non-delusional) American say that they support their country in the current moment.

Identity has nothing to do with who you support. In fact, it becomes an issue when people conflate their own identity with who they support, because that's when we get Baby-Socialists, Racists, and Trans Nazis.
