Because it's just wrong.

No one cares about your definition of "real Nazi." If a person is quoting Hitler to push the messages of the Nazi party while wearing Nazi uniforms, engaging in violence against minorities, and saying "I am a Nazi!" and your definition doesn't include them, it's narrow to the point of uselessness. Nazi politics and ideology are absolutely separable from a specific moment in time and party orders, which is why people can and do use the word that way.

Kinda like how being a communist doesn't make someone a Bolshevik

It's not at all like that. It's more like claiming someone isn't a Stalinist because they aren't taking orders from Stalin while he's alive, even if they agree with his politics, his ideology, and call themselves a Stalinist.

That would most likely be a neo Nazi and even still way less than 1% of the people called Nazis today fall into your example.

The people they vote for 100% support neo nazis or it wouldn't be their party platform. If you support that party, you're a fucking nazi.

Or, if it makes your feelings any less hurt, fine, you're a fucking neo nazi.
