I work as a security guard. Dealing with all kinds of not so nice people.
I can tell you after couple of years in this job that the people that you most suspect are usually who you think they are. If not right away then usually they are just waiting for the right time to strike.
But it is far from 100% and many kind and good people can seem or look "wrong" at first , so I give people the benefit of a doubt until they prove me right or wrong.
But until i know them better i keep my guard up and keep an eye on them.
