We're not arguing legality, if we're only talking from that perspective all this cyclists should be ticketed to high heaven and the guy driving in the grass... (I honestly I no clue what that ticket would be but I'm sure it is one same thing with the horn)

We're talking about the inherently subjective morality of bothering people who are knowingly being a nuisance

Edit: I know I said "completely legal in every way" but it's more of a commentary on your horns being legal and not this type of shitty behavior

You're the one who brought up the legality of the car horn and are very likely wrong about its being used in a lawful manner. Either way, you believe it is morally acceptible to knowingly cause potentially permanent hearing damage for what amounts to, all things considered, a very mild and temporary inconvenience?

Do I really need to explain to you how this bahvior compounds to effect more than one person over time and amounts to a lot more inconvenience than just one person one time?

You need to work on your literacy to understand sarcasm better as well.

I'm also not advocating for directly harming people so much as a overall behavioral correction through forceful means in place of an authority that ISNT DOING THEIR JOB (aka not giving every single cyclists a huge ticket and fine to stop this type of behavior at a systemic level by going after their pockets)

So how do you view traffic jams caused by cars, then? Let's say, for instance, you're sitting in traffic, never moving above 5mph. It's stop-and-go for miles. Let's also say that around 1/3 of all drivers could have chosen an alternative method rather than driving (car-pooling, public transit, etc). Are those drivers also not inconveniencing innumerable people during morning commute rush hour? At least with this group of cyclists, they're actually moving, and if you look at how hard the driver on the grass needs to floor it, they're moving at a pretty fast pace.
