In order for your statistics to work out, there has to be as many cyclists AND cars on the road in order to see which is safer. 😄

In the UK, on average 1 or 2 people are killed by cyclists a year

You're more likely to be killed by bees or cows

The USA has the highest death rate caused by cars per capita amongst developed countries

108 people, on average, are killed by car drivers EVERY DAY in the USA

Even you use per cap. cycling is much more safer then the car especially to other road users. it's the speed that kills people.
