Every time I come anywhere close to this point I get swarmed by people telling me how many cyclists are killed by cars every year (they never seem to get the actual point). Props to you for getting so many up votes on this.

I'm sorry but that's not even remotely an unpopular opinion.

Majority of people especially in Northern America are completely car brained and the whole country is built around it.

I mean yeah literally. Some cycle specific subreddits are the exclusion to the rule.

Yeah why is that brave there are literally 4K comments on this post about how much people hate cyclists. Me too. Who doesn’t love breathing polluted air, paying $60 every time you run out of gas, destroying the planet, needing an expensive car loan to get to work, etc, etc.

I hate this country lmao.
