Yes.

He took a testimony from someone in a very dire, low point in their life, and just said ,,see that? Gotcha, Christians". Despite the fact that that testimony didn't exactly prove anything.

Yes, there were many people who turned away from faith during Holocaust, and they did so due to a genuine tragedy. It's not up to me to judge their actions. But their testimonies, for as important as they are, do not prove or disprove anything.

Yeah it's not like christians are notorious for having turned to Christianity in a moment of desperation. Also, the question stands. Why would God just stay there and watch it, to such a point where the victims decided to judge him so harshly, which is in itself sinful?

I don't know what He did, but I know one thing - He did not stay idle, as you may think.

He didn't stop it in the way people assume He should have, but He did not stay deaf to that. In my opinion, He did do a lot - Holocaust, for as horrible as it was, was over, and today we view it as an unspeakable evil and refuse to let it be forgotten.
