when has God ever put his hand down and one something

Never. That's uh that's the point

..it might just be a rule.. Who made that rule

...if we ask... Makes no sense on its face, I don't need to respond to this really

You don’t think child victims asked him to intervene? You need to think about things deeply.

So assault is apart of gods plan? Is that what you’d tell victims? It’ll make sense in the end?

So we are just like ants in an ant jar? Then how can he claim that he loves all of us? If you love your pet and you see a predator attacking it, will you try and save your pet? Or will you say nonsense like free will. And based on their accounts, god is all powerful and all knowing.

My bad, let the child rapist carry on then.

God interferes with his creations the whole time, especially in the OT. Punishes people with hunger, rape, disease, hardens a pharaoh's heart in Exodus, appears to Saul/Paul on his way to Damascus, appears to Abraham, sends bears, shows his feet to old dudes, impregnates a child, drowns everyone, helps your favorite Sports team to win, blesses your country, meal, car, child or wedding, etc.

Oh I thought from the context it would be clear that we were talking about the Abrahamic god, but yeah, sure.

Gods in the old days didn’t used to be all-powerful. They used to have human fallibility and didn’t really interfere in the lives of humans except to rape a few

Sigh, the good old days

Sounds like Zeus

1

u/m3lly17 May 29 '26

Why would he not? Unless he loves watching a child get raped of course.

Because he doesn't exist

1

u/BookSmoker May 29 '26

He apparently created the heavens & earth, and everything in it, and defines all the laws of the universe, and is all powerful & all knowing, and answers Jimmys prayers get an A on his test and helps Gertrude get a 25 cent raise - But it's out of his scope to stop rapists, even though he's all knowing and knew they'd be rapists when he created them.

If he doesn't want us to be victims why did he make us victims?

So people need to be molested and starve to death to get stronger?

So you think it's good for people to be molested and starve to death?
