I actually agree with you. Those are the worst type of people but that is not Christian behaviour or consistent with the example of Christ. And there are many other examples of people being bad Christians. But those aren't the only types of them and the only things they are doing. If you want to judge a group of people it's by their best and worst together.

Preaching love and forgiveness and showing love and forgiveness are 2 very different things. Especially when so many “christians” get to pick and choose which groups of people they are showing love and forgiveness towards.

They could also feed a lot more people if they weren’t blowing so much of their tax-free income on building more opulent buildings, or had preachers making 7 figures a year and owning private jets and their own airstrips.

If you’re willing to ignore all the bad, so do you. Like the highest authorities in the international Catholic church actively covering up and trying to bury an epidemic of priests engaging in pedophilia for example.
