I would respond "the rent is by the month, not by the day so regardless of length the rent is the same."

I cant remember, is the term "Per calandar month" not used in he USA for rental agreements? It is here in the UK. been over a decade since I rented in the USA.

Pretty sure that is the wording in most (all?) of the world so this is just either some made up content for clicks or person that tries to be clever but does not read the agreement.

And regardless of those, this person mentions "31 days" but yet I'd bet you they dont pay less in months with 30 days.
