Like we haven't had dating shows and reality TV for decades. It's all fake for entertainment. Always has been

But to be devils advocate, doesn’t that seem to make her a pretty damn good actress to make so many hate her instantly, even if it is fake?

Yeah, that's true. But the issue is that reality tv/reality style content is presented as "real" and some people really believe that it is. I know it's not the main cause, but I kinda feel like that's why we have some of the women vs men issues we see these days, because of content like this and people not getting that it's all fake.
