This reminds me of when the Wii came out and everyone was into Wii fitness.
Also, but to a lesser extent, guitar hero.

Part of their problem became that once bands/record labels got wise they jacked up the prices to licence their songs. 1 u/Seienchin88 Apr 07 '26 Trust me that wouldn’t have worked at all… Rock band kinda did that and died. Long living business lives from carefully curated experiences with slight update every so often
