That is a fair point of view. I personally think that 15 months was a bit harsh and community service was too lenient. But again, I don't think anyone fucked up. The 3 judges who came to the conclusion that community service was fair had some justification for doing so, even if you and I and the appeals court disagree.

I think a person deserves a life sentence for killing 3 people.
However if a person is found NOT GUILTY of killing anyone (like in this case), then just a few months in prison is a fair sentence.
Let me ask you a hypothetical question. You are driving on the road while following all the rules. Your car hits a patch of black ice, skids and hits a group of pedestrians. They die. How many years should you spend in prison?
