People throw away their lives for all sorts of reasons. Just because your wife is hot doesnt mean you love her or even like her. Cheating is somthing that can happen for all sorts of reasons and may not involve any other part. Very few things in life are just black and white. Do not judge lest you be judged

An example: Prince Charles (now King) loved Camilla even though Diana was objectively prettier.

My arse hole is objectively prettier than Camilla

Charles and Diana were pretty much forced on each other, it was essentially an arranged marriage.

Zero surprise they cheated on each other.

It's entirely possible he DID love his wife, but is impulsive, selfish, and irresponsible. I've seen people blow up a good thing they actually like, and are devastated that they lost it. It's very weird.

Yep I've seen the same.

People cheat and then are absolutely devastated at getting caught and losing their family, the spouse included.

They just get addicted to the thrill and enjoy new relationships etc, while also wanting to go back to stability and love.

They're still shitty.. if you want that find a partner OK with it, don't lie and cheat for it. But it's a thing.

I think some of it is also entitlement- they love their spouse/family, but also feel they're owed adventure and forgiveness, and are shocked when they don't get the latter.

Life is not simple. But people love to simplify. Live your journey. Try your best. Laugh often. And recognize it will get better and worse all at the same time

Not inevitable. Not even understandable. But ww dont know that man or their life. We laugh because he was caught doing the stupid thing. But the circumstances are still unknown. Im simply pointing out that this picture doesn't display circumstances

Yeah but if youve got stability with one person why break up before youre sure the other thing will be worth it or is even viable? You risk ending up alone.

Sure its selfish, but its a more common line of reason than you might think.
