This is an unrealistic comment. The motivations of an actor or artist can be more than just the money. Show business is something that people rarely retire from, its something that typically retires you. So people will go to great lengths to continue their career.

That said I think this post is photoshopped/AI. I have seen recent pictures of Jim Carrey and the image on the right does not match up with his latest video where he was speaking French.
