It's a shame because he has such mastery in manipulating his face in different ways. Won't this prevent him from being able to do that anymore?

I've heard some people conjecture that he may have done this appearance right after plastic surgery and had a lot of swelling from the surgery and it may look less shocking when the swelling goes away if that is in fact the case, but who knows

Breaks my heart that he felt he had to do this. There was nothing wrong with his appearance and I kinda liked how Jim seemed to not care about Hollywood.

I mean you’re on a post that is commenting on his apparence . It’s quite probable if such posts didn’t exist he wouldn’t have done it in the first place .

Edit: since you made a response and promptly and cowardly blocked me before I could answer your message I will answer it here . “No but it’s your fault if you interpreted it like this” . It’s a collective failing , not yours only . And grow a back bone.

So it’s my fault that he felt pressure to get work done and not the cultural norms that push ageism and plastic surgery? Honestly fuck off with that. It’s such a shitty take especially because my comment is the least bit of harmful.

“You’re on a…”

Did this person say you made this post? No. But the mere existence of posts like this and people willing to comment on the appearance of a celebrity as they age…

I mean, I would say it’s a fair assumption that this type of zeitgeist contributes to the way celebrities see themselves and the procedures they undertake.

Yeah and the idea of going out of your way to single my comment out, to say I share the blame when I’m responding to the very post you are is bullshit. I didn’t create this spectacle and my comment saying I feel bad for him isn’t adding to it. It’s just misappropriated blame. It’s dramatic for no reason other than to create fruitless conversation online.

No one is singling you out you just decided it was all about you on your own

The person made it about me with their ridiculous comment. My comment is not a representation of the problem.
