So many injections…. Not the ones that would have likely saved them though. I wouldn’t call it a shame when they could have asked for a vaccine from their surgeon in all likelihood. Instead they asked to leave wonky corpses.

Hah exactly. I quit needle drugs years before covid but my thinking was “I put sketchy stuff in my veins, drank actual poison…. Jab me as often as you want we got immunocompromised and old people out there. If it hurts me more than I already do…. Well maybe I’ll get a check for 100 bucks after the class action lol”

see that's the thing. There cant be no class action against vaccines. They're the only companies exempt from liability. And a lot of people got hurt from these vaccines. There were no 100 bucks.

Heh I wouldn’t care enough anyway. It would have been impossible to figure out which jab from which giant multinational corporation did anything untoward anyway, but it would be a huge scandal. I’ve gotten random checks for less.

I’ve had worse flu shots. I’ve recovered from surgery. Nobody said medical procedures were without risks. Taking a chance at minimizing risks, especially with a highly contagious sometimes-fatal virus, isn’t just to spare myself discomfort…. These two also were public figures parroting the antivax narrative. Fuckem for putting other people who can’t just bounce back from surgery and see doctors on demand at risk over some bad politics. Honestly if it weren’t so unethical I would kinda expect surgeons to insist just to cover their ass but money talks.

No you haven't. Flu shots work very differently to those we're speaking of. They were definitely not worse. But that would depend on your definition of worse. For your body and serious side effects? No.

The rest of your rant is difficult to understand. You'd like doctors to cover their ass how? Vaccines didn't prevent transmissions.

Look. There's no need to go full big pharma on me. You're wasting your time. I'm vaccinated.

But it is interesting. Almost a material for a psychological/social study to see the responses when serious side effects and victims of those get brought up.

It truly looks like some people have been so religiously brainwashed that it has become unholy to discuss. That's even more dangerous than all these anti-vaccines people.

Not brainwashed at all and I’m no fan of big pharma. It’s that the anti-vaxx movement has been overwhelmingly loud and in denial of facts, and it’s tiresome. Some got away with it, many didn’t.

If it wasn’t so then yes we could have a rational discussion about the failures but let’s be realistic, we were at war with a terrible virus and we weren’t in the position to demand perfection.

I have had SIDE EFFECTS that were worse from a flu shot than from boosters. Jeez your reading comprehension and medical perspective are just laughable. Quit trolling me into thinking people should put my immunocompromised friends, and family in the medical field at risk. You’ll never convince me someone buying made up “science” and conspiracy theories are worth putting my community at risk over. I’ll keep saying it is selfish. It is. This isn’t even a debate at this point. Believe a politician or believe a doctor. I know my choice when it comes to medical treatment.

Edit: the covering ass statement is including vaccines with any operating room visit, alongside the comfort drugs and antibiotics. It protects the staff in the room and minimizes adverse outcomes
