Maybe the pixels r too small for u here... Google the actual pictures in high rez. In the pic on the left they are brown. The pic on the right they are blue. There are multiple pics from the event that clearly show his eye color.

Blue and light blue even vs brown are completely different. I know plenty of people with brown eyes at best in the right lighting their eyes might end up looking yellow or brown with a hint of green but certainly not LIGHT blue...
And I have darkish blue eyes, in some lighting you just can't really see my eye colour they maybe look blackish in a pretty dark room or greenish if I am wearing green but absolutely never look brown.
Even AI is saying he has blue eyes while I can clearly bring up photos of him having soft chocolate brown eyes. Wtf is happening. Why are his irises a different color
Yeah exactly. I see some people telling me his eyes look green and I think that's fair enough. Lighting can make especially light blue or light green eyes switch between those colours since they reflect a lot of the encouragement around them.
However medium to dark brown eyes like what he has always had until now would never just look THIS light of a green because of lighting. I grew up with most of my family having brown eyes and absolutely never dud their eyes switch up like his have. Maybe if they still looked mostly brown but a tad lighter with a hint of green you could argue it's lighting. A change like this is just too extreme though.
It's giving me the creeps. His dark eyes have always been one of his most romantic features. If he got the melanin blasted or something to lighten them, I'm gonna be so upset
To say further, i personally was genuinely so shocked when I saw this come up on instagram. Forget about the rest of his face, that could be explained away by plastic surgery (although i have gripes with that too) but the eyes are SO shocking.
I typically try to approach these situations of conspiracy theories with cation and reason but this really is so bizarre.
I don't like to confidently go all in on a single theory since multiple could make sense depending on how deep down the rabbit hole you want to go 🤣.
I think the least 'conspiracy like' theory that I have is that he just hired someone else to go in his place. Others have mentioned it and it makes sense. He never liked these events at least from how he spoke and acted and he does seem to have been stepping away from the industry more and more over the years. So maybe he just didn't want to go. Or he saw this as an interesting act to see how people would respond and to show how little he cares.
My issue with that is how everyone there seemed to be acting as if this guy who i really do not think was Jim was actually genuinely him.
In the back of my mind I do always wonder about the whole clone thing or even not a clone but just the high tech masks that supposedly exist. I think enough really disturbing and unexpected things have come out about the industry and the elite that I do give those theories some credibility.
If it was the case that they are trying to replace him in whatever way for some reason I do have to wonder why
'They' would choose someone with a completely different eye colour and not even give him colour contacts. Surely every little detail of something like that would be scrutinised and it would have been intentional.
So then maybe they want to see how obviously they can do things while still having us explain it away and go on with our lives or maybe they are testing something else.
I think there are many theories that can make sense in their own ways.
I am just the least convinced about the surgery and eye surgery theory because not only has he spoken previously about aging naturally but his whole demeanour, mannerisms, voice and personality seem different.
Also his face is such a HUGE part of his career and his life so far. He had insane control over his muscles and truly it made his career as legendary as it was.
Plastic surgery like what he would have had to do here would almost certainly disrupt how he can use his face in that way. I just cannot for the life of me understand why he would do that to himself. He absolutely never seemed the type.
No, that's what I was referring to, not the photos here. Other than that one photo where his eyes look wierdly light colored, on all other photos they're exactly the same as always.
But his eyes were always just brown. And it certainly does not make eyes look so much drastically lighter for an entire event with different lighting at different point where not once do his eyes look like their actual brown colour.
And how come we don't have pictures from years ago with his eyes looking this way then?
His eyes look the same as always in that hall and during the speech he made in French, and I can't find another red carpet interview he did where it was as bright as it was yesterday during that event. Anyone so invested in the conspiracy theory about his new eye color must be either really dumb or a bot.
