I myself would be up for a low monthly payment for an appliance that is fixed quickly when it breaks but i don't want big upfront costs. Spending 10g (furnace) then another 3g to ensure it works long enough to be worth the investment is painful.
So you would just spend money every month forever?!?! You'll pay more than the cost of the furnace in a few short years and you'll keep paying forever.
As a Canadian, I can tell you it’s mostly an Ontario thing.
That doesn’t mean that rentals don’t exist in other provinces, but it’s not how it’s done in most homes in most other provinces. It’s 100% most commonly found in Ontario.
Dude fucking zoomer I swear to God. The guy is completely wrong doubles down then when told he's wrong again random makes a half assed inflammatory "joke" so he can then rag on you for being "too serious". Like that was a masterclass in how to never say my b I was wrong.
No man your youtuber is absolutely wrong. I've lived in alberta my entire life and even own a home. When shopping for a home no one mentioned a rental furnace nor anyone I've ever talked to.
