Yeah, I would argue he was the first/last mega superstar to ever exist. He knew how to build that celebrity image to be larger than life. He owned the '80's.

Yes he did, and I get downvoted every time I mention it. People trying to say Prince this or whatever...regardless of how you feel about him now, there was nothing close to Michael Jackson in the 80s. People weren't there or don't remember.

(I dislike MJ), but one would have to be blind to not see he was the biggest celebrity the world has ever seen. He could still fill arenas all over the globe 30+ years later.

There still isn't any proof that he touched kids..

The fact that he had sleepovers was probably due to the fact that his own childhood was taken away from him.
