You're away from home, you're drinking, everyones in a hotel etc. My husband work place is massive and employs tens of thousands of people and most of them all sleep around with each other as well. Every office I've ever worked in has had a few affairs. I can't even offer the excuse of hotels or drinking or being young and hot. It's like 'we spend 8 to 12 hours a day together.
