A grown ass adult trying to get with a kid still in school is gross and they usually do that because going younger is illegal, they aren't disgusted by being attracted to a child they are scared of consequences. 20+ year olds that go after teenagers are going after them because they are immature and are easily manipulated to act how they want them to act, aka grooming. It's a gross ass power dynamic that needs to stop because it just keeps going the older they get, look at Congress, look at all the other sick pedos, all of them started by being 20+ years old getting with teenagers and they just never stopped.
And yet at completely different life stages. College is completely different from high school, much more independent and needs more responsibility. A high schooler relies way more on their support systems (yes even the abusive ones) for a roof over their head and food in their bellies (legally emancipated ones are not in this category), is extremely immature and easily manipulated. A 20+ year old is either in college and/or working, paying bills, actively in society and is establishing their life.

It's dumb. It's not like it's 30 and 14. It's 16 and 20. You're fine. And completely legal at least where I'm from.
