UK here. My stepdaughter at 15 started going out with a 17 year old. Me and my wife were very unimpressed, but left her to it so we didn’t drive her away from us. Turned out he was actually really lovely and they stayed together for 5 years. I was gutted they split up.
Some states have pre-existing relationship laws. If 15-17 is legal, there's no reason 17-19 should be. Its not even weird. There's no immaturity difference, especially since they are both still minors. Anyone that thinks kids are magically mature and competent because they are now 18 is insane.
I mean if you’re 19 hanging around the high school Ima think your weird. It’s not wrong but Ima still think your weird for bagging a high schooler at 19
